2026 Events:
We have been busy planning activities for the summer.
1) Pickleball 101 will be taught by AAPA through Community Education. Please tell your friends and family about our wonderful sport and have them sign up and give it a try. Sign up is through the Community Education website at http://isd1.ce.eleyo.com. It will be June 15 & 17 (Mon/Wed) from 1-3 PM at the High School Tennis Courts.
2) Main social events:
(Second Wednesday of the month)
a) AAPA Potluck at the Aitkin City Park. June 10 at 5:00, with city courts available for play from 3-5.
b) Picklepizza at the Tennis Courts-July 8.
c) Ice-cream Social at the tennis courts on August 12.
d) Pickleball Under the Lights and Drills with the Ball machine will be scheduled and at your request.
e) Women’s and Men’s Round Robins will be scheduled and info will be sent out by organizers.
All of these activities will be on Playtime Scheduler where you can sign up.
3) Please pay your 2026 dues. This covers expenses like balls, nets, supplies for social activities and in the last year we have donated money for an AED at the city park and money to the school to purchase two beautiful picnic benches with umbrellas for the tennis courts. Finally some shade! Dues are $25/person or $50/family. Your money is put to good use for you and the community. Thank you!

First Annual Round Robin Pickleball Tournament
May 31, 2023
There were 40 pickleball players, ranging from beginners to advanced, who participated in the First Annual Round Robin Pickleball Tournament hosted by the Aitkin Pickleball Association. This event was scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, but was cancelled due to rain. The dedicated pickleball players of Aitkin did not let this deter them, they all showed up the following evening and made it a huge success!
HOLIDAY PARTY!

30 Pickle People attended the party. We had food, wine, beer and lots of fun with friends!

Oktoberfest Dinking and Social Event!
Our first Skills and Social Event on Oct 12th, 2022 was a huge success!
We hit our max of 24 people within an hour of announcement.
30 people also attended the Social event at Block North!
Many attendees embraced the theme and arrived in costume! Prizes were awarded!
